The Association for Science Education (ASE) is a professional community that supports science subject leaders to develop excellent science teaching and learning. We work in partnership with the Primary Science Quality Mark team to offer a package of support throughout your school’s PSQM journey. This is provided through our PSQM School Membership scheme. This offers:

Whole-school science CPD at no extra cost

All teachers at your school can attend one day free of charge to our Annual Conference, which is the largest science education event in Europe. This is a unique benefit for PSQM schools to build your own tailored science CPD programme for all staff. ASE has a special two day primary science programme every year at the Annual Conference. The Primary Science Magazine

Packed with ideas from other science leaders and published five times a year. In addition you will have a subscription to the ASE magazine Education in Science and access to all the previous issues online.

The Primary Science Leaders’ Survival Guide

An online resource from fellow educators on all aspects of delivering science in primary schools. The purpose of this electronic guide is to help you develop your subject leadership role and science in your school by tackling one bit at a time. It contains practical advice from fellow professionals on all aspects of delivering science in primary schools. An essential 'how to' for new and experienced science leaders alike! The ASE Primary Committee ensure this is kept current releasing updates to the guide each year.
