All enjoyed a demonstration of science practical work from John Buchan pupils and a film showing children at Andrew Humphrey doing science. The awards were presented by Jane Turner Associate Director Science Learning Centre East of England and PSQM project lead. Dr Whalley commented, “I would certainly implore others to undertake this process; it has driven curriculum change, forced standards up and made us all more reflective and self-critical. As a result of all of the effort the most important thing is that our children are now happy, interested and enthusiastic young scientists, a good enough reason on its own.”
